WATCH: Monroe Sings Happy Birthday to JFK In Ultra HD

When it comes to beautiful starlets of Hollywood history Marilyn Monroe is perhaps the most famous among them. When it comes to handsome politicians (of which there are few) John F. Kennedy (JFK) easily stands out in the crowd. Monroe and Kennedy and their alleged ‘affair’ were built to stir both the gossip magazines and the public imagination.

Rumors of the affair between the two icons had spread like wildfire. Monroe, the beautiful, sexy, actress was famous for her body and sex life as much as her singing and acting. JFK, the handsome, elite, politician turned president was notorious for his sexual exploits in the Oval Office (some of which could make Bill Clinton blush).

Another angle of Monroe Singing.

During a celebration of JFK’s birthday, Monroe was to perform a song, a birthday song. She would come out and sing to the crowd, “Happy Birthday Mr. President” and for the first time, the gossipers had some solid evidence of something “exclusive” happening between them.

Kennedy would say after the song, “I can now retire from politics after having Happy Birthday sung to me in such a sweet and wholesome way.” Sweet and wholesome. It looked like a bit more than that to me. What do you think?
